damn i still wonder how this ranks work:

(Joined: 01 Mar 2005, Total posts: 187, 0.43 posts per day)

(Joined: 04 Feb 2005, Total posts: 1130, 2.47 posts per day)

any comments or new hints, plut? cant be based on postcount, joined date, posts per day or time spend on forum...

and btw: is 2 and a half post a day the spammage u were complaining about? Rolling Eyes

XPS has a Spam rating of : 2.75
you have one of : 1.1

oh, and higher is better although anything over 1 is good...

clearly doesnt explain why its THAT high though....

how is spam worked out though, how does it tell the difference between a genuine post and a spam one?

it doesnt, to work that out would take to long. it just kinda approximates.

higher is better as its converted from it raw form into a scale factor.

k, i give up. i only understood "more spam -> higher rank" although that doesnt make sense. i cant even figure out whats considered as spam in ur math.

i wont call it ranks, i call it arbitrariness.
