Yes u heard it ^^ region free Very Happy

The reason they can do this is cause of the size of the new BD ROMs... They can fit all the versions on to the same disc Cool

Of course I'm not sure whether PS1 or PS2 games from all regions will work though... /me begs Crying or Very sad

sounds good and it makes sense.
however dont get your hopes up about the ps1/2 games working as its not the hardware thats decoding anything as on the blueray all the languages are already there so i dont think itll happen matey.

Well the way I see it if they make it so u can play say at least US copies on it then it will stop more people resorting to piracy etc...

it will help that. but they will also lose money. as the games will be out in america/japan before here, so people will buy them off the net at $40 (which is about £25) and get them earlier. then when they come out over here and sony ask £40 for them or whatever, might be £50 yet, then alot of people would already have the games, this has been soemthing to do with games being region locked before im sure.
