yo djo, about the tips&tricks: colours thread, i thought it was kinda difficult to understand, for a person who knows nothing about colours that is Smile

I've been using an online colourchart since to quickly look up the colours that i need. Here's the url: http://www.hypersolutions.org/pages/rgbhex.html It shows the HEX codes of each colour. So for example the HEX code FFCC99 becomes $FC9 in TM, I personally thought this was much easier than having to figure out the density settings by yourself Rolling Eyes

its not really that hard to learn the colour charts, i was doing this way way back with dpaint2 (Wink arcade should know this one)

123456
1 and 2 are the red attributes
3 and 4 are green
5 and 6 are blue

1 3 and 4 are the colour, 2 4 and 6 are the tone or gradiant
its the "amount" of colour what can be confusing

123456789abcdef

1 being the least and f being the most of that particular colour

to make a chart of all the tones of Red in order it would look like this

010000
020000
030000
040000
050000
060000
070000
080000
090000
0a0000
0b0000
0c0000
0d0000
0e0000
0f0000
100000
110000
120000
130000
140000
150000
160000
170000
180000
190000
1a0000
right up to FF
And if you attended primary school you should know stuff like red and blue make purple Razz FF00FF = Purple

it works the same way as volume code in octamed which is why i found it easy Wink

I know, just think it's a lot easier to use one of them than having to 'calculate' your colours Confused
