The 360 and Revolution are virtualy identicle in terms of programing sense so ports of games between the 2 will be fairly simple and quick not to mention the Revo has some thing new to offer, the ps3 on the other hand is different in every way possible, of course EA are going to back their biggest investment, but will other companies back it too ?
This is exactly what happened with the GC and in terms of competition, it flopped like a donkey dick.
This is probably the end of the almighty reign sony have but im sure they will pull through as always

I still think xbox will hold the lowest possition. Revo might have a bigger chance this time, but don't ignore PS3 because it wont be so easy to port things too, it will out perform the other consols with ease and it doesn't look THAT much bigger than the PS2, its just curved on the top.

I'm not sure i beleive you on that, that would make it the same size is a PC and I don't think even Sony could manage that.
The dev kits would probably be bigger but I cant imagine they would show off a dev kit at E3. I will wait till I see one in person before i realy comment though.

naah its not 4x, just trying to give you a feel of it
its actualy 13.5 inches in length and 3.5 inches wide
pretty much the same size as the original xbox, so yeah a desktop pc size. No doubt in 3 years they will make a smaller version.
The truth is Sony have never kept promises as to how good their consoles really are so try not to expect some thing outa this world.
Even their E3 demos were rendered on PC hardware so no one has seen one in action yet.
Yes, it will prolly kick the 360 and Revo in the knackers, but no, it wont be as good as sony say Wink

I suppose u lot have seen the redesign of the DS... which pissed me off a bit cause I got one in November...

As for next gen... I like the revolution cause it's small and I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the SNES Cool

The PS3 though will most likely be my most required console... with the backwards compatibility... and the likelihood of loads of RPGs and FFXIII Wink

Anyway - I am sick of dumping all my money into Japanese produced electronics/products. If you want to blow $700-$800 on the PS3 when it is released - go for it. Rolling Eyes

I will be enjoying my XBox 360 in full 1080i glory on my 55" Big Screen TV. The rest of you nabs can set back and wait for about a year for the Piece of Shit 3. Very Happy
