hmm which to do. the xbox2 being £279 is a nice amount of money that could be spent to make my pc better hmmmm. someone tell me if to play new gen console sonline i have to pay microsof etc a fee or can i jus tplug i into my pc's broadband and off i go?

if u gonna play official xbox live u have to pay. otherwise find some shit like neXbc and play online for free but then like no1 is usin it cus all r nubs.

buy conker live n reloaded imo.

well? not realy, my latest upgrade just cost me about £450, my next one (back round to graphics card again) will probably be abother 400 as i'll have to get (another) new motherboard for it. 270 would be nice tho - might be able to get myself some food or something.....

figure i might scrap the whole pc upgrade and just buy some new clothes lol. undecided at the mo. if i were to upgrade id prob want a new motherboard gfx another gig of ram would be nice. and if i were upgrading motherboard i spose a better processor would be good but i already got 3gig so seem tad pointless right now. maybe ill buy some ram.

1gig ddr ram how much that gonna set me back someone? need to be in 1 slot cos i got a gig already and only 1 slot left i think. hmm if i get a new motherboard i spose i could get 1 with more slots mmmmA.

what comp games u ladiz playing now i got right out of gaming so im behind. last game i loved was far cry. wo0ts the new fps to have? is s.t.a.l.k.e.r realeased yet that looked a good one. and wheres my black and white 2 pfft

my sk939 athlon64 out performs your 3ghz p4, and its only running at 2ghz
the days of "speed means every thing" is over now. Pentiums are only faster in video encoding and some other minor stuff.
Get a A64 socket 939 (preferably the Fx series) for ultimte performance, sk939 will also let you run ram in dual channel (oh there is a 64bit patch out for far cry too so a pentium isnt able to run it. It makes a big difference on gfx too Wink

)
2g of ram is still pretty usless right now, the only game to actualy take advantage of having that much is battlefield 2, which is also THE fps game to have atm too. Ill be buying another gig of ddr400 3200 this weekend.
To run this ok you might need at the bare minimum a 6600gt or x800xl/pro
given the choice though i would get the x800xl, it has an extra 4 or 8 (cant remember exactly) pipes compared to the 6600, which will give you a much bigger performance increase.

i still use an old p4 2ghz and a radeon 9600. can play call of duty with lowest settings and get about 60 frames per sec. lol. do i have to mention that i suck?

but worms (world party and armageddon) still runs smooth Razz

today i went out and got a MSI Neo 4 platinum mobo and a x800xl pic-e gfx card, for an extra 50 squid i could have got me the x850, but i didnt have enough cash on me to make up the difference
(monk:i got a refund for my gfx card instead of replacment)

for rendering your prolly best getting a gforce card, they have better settings to work with and ss3 (if your using that) but a same spec ATI card will render faster, it has almost double clock speed.
But i still say get a AMD64 Smile
