SATA hard drive :p, and as far as i know there isnt a sata to ide adapter
you might find a sata pci card some where though but then again this will be useless without a sata molex connector :p
as for next gen consoles, ill be buying a revolution mainly because im a retro fan, i really hate new stuff
the revolution already emulates NES, SNES and N64, and as you know i already have every nintendo rom ever made
The revolution takes dvd media too, ill just wait 3 months for some one to chip it and take advantage of the built in emulation, then ill just burn my own rom dvds |

errrrrrrrrrrrrr.... u do realise that the games are archived online and well you'll have to pay for them
Yeah I'm tempted by the Revolution but also by the PS3 obviously because I've got a PS1 and PS2 already... But I admit I miss the classics on the SNES
As for the xbox 360 get a loada of this report on it...

its kinda funny... some time ago just a few ppl had a computer but knew almost everything about its hardware and the os.
nowadays almost every1 has a pc, but only a few ppl know something about the hardware in it.
im not saying im a total crack and solder my own motherboards _________________

Oh well ya wishful thinking aren't you... have u actually seen the Revolution... it's only got a slot at the front for discs
So all the NES, SNES and N64 games are ONLINE and archived... u download em onto the revolution harddrive and play em _________________

oh ffs!!!! ok so he thinks he can copy his roms from his pc to the revolution and play em...
OMFG WTF
Wishful thinking again... Nintendo aren't that stupid...
and no one knows if the controller is gonna have any buttons at all... it's been highly speculated so they would have to redo all the games in the backcatalogue to work with the new pads _________________

Im not daft enough to think i can put some roms on a disc and play them on a rev lol i thought u knew me better than that kev
im trying to say, some one will figure out how the built in emu software works, write a small app and run roms through it. If not then surley some one will write a new emulator for it just like any other console (ps2 xbox etc)
But then again, the gamecube has emus for it now too and the rev is able to run any GC software.
and the revolution doesnt have a hdd btw it does how ever have compact flash slots which will be compatible with homebrew apps (that includes emus)

im not up 4 a fight... but i dont see why this shouldnt be possible, kev. u can emulate all roms on pc's, they hacked the ps, ps2 and the xbox so u can play all its games from hd too (u think mircoloft was so stupid and allowed em to do that?) and if

- err - why the fuck shouldnt they get the game on the hd another way?
all companys r trying to make it impossible to cheat or whatever... but look how successful they r even music-cd have a copy-protection now. i just dont know how some1 get em online b4 they r in the stores
i stopped playing with these things after the snes. so i actually dont care. was just a random thought.
