please explain to me how klose and podolski can play for germany when they were born in poland and have polish parents, same for Cacau who was born in brazil has brazilian parents, mover to germany at aged 19 yet can play for germany wtf?

Multi-curtural-societies are a bitch, aren't they? Btw it's called a German passport Smile

ENGLAND SUCK ASS AT FOOTBALL

They didn't play that bad actually. Last 10 mins of first half, and first 15 mins of the second half were all about England. There would have been a different match if it was 2-2 at the end of the first half. Stupid Fifa and their ideas about camera's.

Anyway this was a great match to watch. Who's watching ARG-MEX? I certainly am Smile

yo cj, guess it really was the germans revenge for wembley '66 - we're finally even Cool glad we didnt only win with 1 goal ahead Wink

about the players: podolski was 2 years old when his parents moved to germany with him. klose even lived in france before coming to germany at the age of 8.
i dont like to see cacau playing for us tho, coz he didnt grew up in germany. totally agree with u there. with kießling we have another awesome forward who deserves playing a lot more than cacau. my opinion.

sorry alan, england had a strong phase about 10 min before and after the break. the rest was germany playing with a at least 3 more big chances.

The general crowd reaction here at this match:
1. gg.
2. bl @misjudge
3. Not as much pretenders (false motions..) as many others.
4. Attacks are exhilarating. Defense was not solid though.

in all fairness to england, we didnt once set the world alight, didnt look like potential world cup winners and a single win against the tiny nation of slovenia is all we could muster....

Well played Germany, they outclassed us and tore us apart bar our brief spell, but we cant complain about what if's.

Main concern was, why take Peter Crouch to the WC, and play Heskey a man who only scored 3 goals all season and rarely played ahead of him?

Capello fluffed it on the big stage imo

Ghana to win the WC now xD

and also, imo players born should play for the country they were born in, bet Poland are pissed Off they dont have Podolski or Klose now? Isnt Klose you're highest ever goalscorer too, other than Gerd Muller pig?

and yes Kiessling is pretty good too, but hes german so he sucks haha Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

ty couldnt remember his name xD van basten ftw!, also looks like his decision NOT to include van nistelrooy may be a smart one, as i for one thought he was stupid not taking a proven goal scorer / poacher but what do i know?

and the focus turns to.... my potential WC winners - GHANA!

Added after 4 hours 23 minutes:

gutted, best match of the tournament thus far imo, but how come if u get sent off in a league game its a 3 game ban, yet at the WC, just a 1 game ban, seems a bit unfair, cant also see why Gyan would blast the penalty with the last kick of the game either, but still....
