I read a thread on the t17 forums about user missions, making me wana play wwp.

today i decided to try and make an image of wwp (again)
that damn laserlok protection didnt let me do it, but i haxed! Very Happy

- copy the whole cd except the laserlok dir to your hd
- burn it on a cd (a rewritable would be smart), and name that cd 'wwp'
- make an image of that cd
Smile

after that, i decided to play some wwp.
I went to ag, to play some bombsurfer, which i did. I played with arcade and smack as well Smile

then dimi came to ag, he saw on xfire that i was one of the very few dm members online that was playing worms. When we were in ag abzter popped up. At least, he was wearing the name abzter and the dm tag. He asked for a w2w and played like shit. He spoke very bad english as well.

I thought i finally met him again (he's never on msn afaik) and then it probably was some random n00b
Sad

a) use a better copy prog? or simply use a virtual drive that simulates laserlok or other protections like daemon tools does.

b) abzter still uses msn. the few times i log in there hes online. that hes playing like a n0ob doesnt mean anything.

c) me, myself and i play wwp too every now and then. but i miss the minimize feature. but i like the players there more than in w:a (all the "pros" and "league players" hanging around in w:a - ag is full but no1 plays)

followin piglet's abc system with latin numerical characters:

i) alchool can make a perfect copy of your cd with no problems i think. Nero has the option too to bypass read errors(like laserlock) . then you can emulate it with daemon tools which is kinda cool in my opinion, cos its too low in resources as a program. Correct me if im wrong.

ii)i dont think he was abzster, he was speaking kinda weird..not only his roping was sad....like a 2week roper (reminded me of piglet). although he kinda proved he was abzster when he said hes working @computers. I dont know surely if he was or he wasnt cos i dont remember playing him again.

iii)i 'm fully back to wwp with small breaks for WA. I like going to ag to find a game(WWP) and not watching at the screen of ag without playing which is the case for WA. i miss allready minimise. Arcade plays wwp like hell the last days so i can find him easily.

iv) piglet sorry for yesterday. I couldnt chk xfire so as to see your pm's. Too bad m8 we could have played a bit:).

v) i ll try to be more on TS from now on when playing cos xfire aint so usefull anymore.

adios

i did the skip thingy with nero, it took about 10 minutes to pass 1%

ah well, i fixed it now

about wwp/wa
- i agree to all the 'pro's' haning in ag in wa.
- i agree to the fact that people actually host/play on wwp
- the skills of wa players are higher then the wwp people, at least on shoppa. You can play any random person on wa, and they know how to play a decent game.
- i think a lot of new people get wwp, cuz it's newer thus better
- i think id play a bit more wwp now and then, but dimi i really dont understand why you would move back to wwp?

Basically, i cant see the need to have 2 of essentially the same games installed on one computer, so until wwp gets a BIG overhaul, i'm staying in w:a. Its not like i play online without any friends anyway. Its not as much fun.

yeah, about 140 mb 4 w:a and another 40 mb 4 wwp is a massive waste of space... to be honest i dont even believe its possible to install both on one computer coz windows' swap file needs all available space.

is there a life after worms?

am i therefore i play?

i will not switch to wwp permanently of course.. if you ask me for a game in WA ill join..but when im going online without any DM or WcD folks for a game it ll be wwp..for the simple reason i WANT to play and NOT chat @ ag

WWP needs some patches......it sucks so much the way it is

WWP may be more recent....but compared to WA's new features and such
it totally gets owned. If only we had "one" patch, if only Crying or Very sad .
