h4><0r l337z must be approached with caution, and then only when absolutely necessary. These are the handful of noobs who have some degree of actual skill with programming languages, and who often make themselves feared among the populace of Internet newbs by producing vast quantities of malware, seemingly oblivious to the fact that non-noobs do not wish to see thirty-seven ads for penis-mightiers spontaneously manifesting themselves on desktops around the world, and would like nothing more than to see these h4><0r l337z garroted and hung by their own gall bladders.
1 0WnZ j00!1! noobs are primarily an irritation, and sometimes go among non-noobs by the title of "script kiddies". Their primary claim to stature in the l337 religion is having seen any number of poor, grossly inaccurate movies about computer hackers, and the ability to repeat technical-sounding jargon from them ad-nauseum. Some are capable of producing slightly irritating malware, but most are incapable of more than generating homepages (see Section V) or exceptionally poor knock-offs of Hamster Dance.
The unwashed masses of noobs typically cower in fear of these intellectual giants, as most are barely capable of operating a keyboard. These pose no actual danger, save that to the psyches and mental well-being of non-noobs they encounter in the course of their aimless bumbling through the world wide web. |
