should check ur lan then ... i use it mainly .. if a download breaks up i can resume it. depends on the ftp server u using .. a freeware ftp server called filezilla should allow it aswell ..

actually its a server so i cant use MSN. i upload data to the server and it doesnt break up..it just loses some parts of file or it transfers ascii characters completely wrong. anyway it must be the LAN.. im using WS_FTP pro for the uploadin and downloadin.

not... completely true, 'Windows Messenger' is just like MSN and uses the same contacts. The windows 'Messenger' service is used for communication over a network and realy should be disabled cos it easy to hack.
