Poor Veg,
3 Years ago i did severe damage to my back while playing tennis, i was doing a topspin serve and i bent back to much and just crumbled to the floor. I ignored it and got back up and kept playing. Since that day i have never got it sorted out. I went to the doctors once which was about 2 weeks after it happened and what did they do? Gave me fucking pain killers and told me to lay off sport for 2 weeks, after the break i continued to play tennis and carried on taking pain killers. Doctors are fucking useless i mean if i have an injury and they are giving me pain killers im only got to make it worse and im also not going to know if i injure myself again as im taking painkillers! Anyway i carried on with the pain and agony for a long time until i decided enough is enough and i went into the doctors and told them to do a proper check on my back. What he did was he sent me away to a special orthapedic specialist at hostpital, So about 12 weeks later (NHS , pfft) i have an apointment with the bloke and he does a proper exam on me, i was sent for an xray. The orpho doc said i had slipped a disc but needed to verify it with an xray. I thought doctors could identify slipped discs during a checkup but NO, fukin arseholes. The orphodoc told me to get lots of bedrest, take painkillers and i had to have physiotherapy for it to heal. The X-Ray results took 4 weeks to come in and the physio was 8 weeks waiting list. I got the X-Ray results on tuesday and it wasnt good news. My whole back was strangely shaped, he said my left side of the back was higher or lower than the right side or something strange and he didnt stop there. He said at such a young age it is very unsual to get back problems and he strongely advised me to stop playing any sport such as football, tennis, snooker. He said if i continue to play tennis or snooker i could have to undergo sugery and be off sport for the rest of my life. The surgery is extremely expensive apparently. Ive also got the choice of have a injection to stop the pain every month for 9 months? which is like £1000 each time which is ludacris and it isnt even 100% guarenteed only like 90% or somin.
So i am a cripple and it fucking kills me not being able to do the 2 things i love,
No Snooker
No Tennis
So im not liking this at all. I have just had to buy a orphapedic mattress costing nearly £600.
I am very angry. Is there any back donors? Anyone willing to swap their back with mine? |
