Does anyone here has a decent enough computer to play Oblivion with nice graphics? Cause I am trying hard to play it on 640x480 with low details, and it still works like crap.
But the game is awsome... ( |

whats your PC spec? as you must have a pretty low end one. the game looks like it scales very well with slower hardware. _________________

Barthon 2600+, 512MB RAM, GForce FX 5900xt and other thngies...
I have another big problem now, the sound crashes after 10 mintues of gameplay, my sound card is a Yamaha from 1800 but worked fine with all other games till now. |

ok, you could really do with atleast a gig of ram.
but that gfx card should be able to run it at 1024x768 on low/medium setings.
turn AA/AF and HDR/bloom effect off too. _________________

*Serious mode switched on*
I can't see why this game is running crap for u m8... I've got 512MB ram and a 2.4Ghz AMD XP... and this game looks similar to GW which runs fine... though i get laggg in towns (due to being online with 100s of others etc)
U tried running defrag??? updating ya drivers??? errrrrrrrrrrrr /me thinks... _________________

i played at my m8's comp, he has
AMD 2500+
GeForce 5600 128
512 RAM
no lag on 800x600, minimum effects and etc. higher - unplayable
other m8 has
AMD Athlon 64 4000+
GeForce 6800Ultra
2gb RAM
And on that configuration THE GRAPHICS ARE AWESOME!!!1 But on maximum it still lags as hell. lol. |
