is your fan card underneath your gfx card ?
if it is you might want to move it or take it out completley
your gfx fan would be trying to pull air to itself and the fan card will be trying to pull air away from it
bad combination if you ask me |

Theres a pci slot between the 2 but the idea of the fan card is to gather any air below and blow it on to the card so it's got as much air as possible... plus it should help with lifting any hot air up towards the back fan and psu... like I said before it's made a difference to the idle temp but not much _________________

Ok I'm back =/
Not had the best 2 weeks, the PSU decided to stop working after me m8 and me fixed the card... the heat pipes were completely blocked... it's no wonder the temp went so bloody high... I just did a brief test... and the highest it got to was about 65-66C, idle it's sitting at 40C _________________

Ok just thought I'd update u all... not that any of u care really
I've turned down the fan card to LO so now I can't hear it... and would u adam and eve it... the temp has gone down another 1.5C at least... so i reckon the fan card was actually helping the card before cause the heatpipes were blocked but now they aren't it's blowing the air too quickly...
I'll keep the fan card as it is worth helping the air getting out of the case... I'm sitting at 36C idle today so I'm a happy chappy _________________
