im trying to say, some one will figure out how the built in emu software works, write a small app and run roms through it. If not then surley some one will write a new emulator for it just like any other console (ps2 xbox etc)
But then again, the gamecube has emus for it now too and the rev is able to run any GC software.
and the revolution doesnt have a hdd btw  it does how ever have compact flash slots which will be compatible with homebrew apps (that includes emus) |
U can't be certain on anything... u don't know what protection the console will have... ya just hoping that u can use your roms on it correct??? Yes I know there might be a way but as I keep stating the games r ARCHIVED ONLINE so they need downloading on to the revolution to play (the console is wireless from the get go)... whether u have to pay for them is questionable... cause if theres no HD then you'll end up buying em and then having to delete em to make room... or having to buy more memory sticks or waddeva they store things on...
Oh and this is isn't a fight piglet it's just text on a computer screen...

i know they are achived online, but im not talking about that lol but its not going to stop some one writing a emulator for it
The copy protection is "Nintendos barcode reader" designed by Macrovision, they also designed one for the xbox360 and has already been cracked
yep you have to pay for the games, but the online gaming is free.
If they have to be downloaded to the CFC then i already have a reader for my pc and simply copy them when ever i want |

in german we have the saying "Die Feder ist stärker als das Schwert" and it means sumin like the written word is more powerful than the sword. so technically it could be a fight (with text on a computer screen) - but im glad to hear it isnt

well thats a new one... here it's the pen is stronger (Mightier) than the sword

yep, i think thats the correct english version. i searched 4 a translation but couldnt find any.
well, "Feder" means feather... but was used as a pen some years ago. and what they meant is the written word afaik, coz i doubt u can win a fight with a pen against a sword
as i said b4 i wont buy a console. no ps3, no xbox360 and no nintendo revolution  im thinking about a new pc in a few tho
