Ok, I thought when I made these kind of maps the idea would be quite simple to comprehend. Playing it online shows for many it's not. So here are a few guidelines on how to play a 3in1 properly. Since I write a lot, the parts in BOLD will be main rules, with some comments around it for those who don't get it.
The concept:
Ever played a game and people starting to whine they wanna play something else? Having fun in a shop but some want to wxw? Flying like a pro while having some wankers wanting to be in a shop? Touching the walls with some boons who prefer to fly over rather than in the map you play? Now you can do it all at once! No more need for hosting several game types if it can be done in just one game! You just host 3 games in 1, which usually takes the same time as playing 3 games in a row
The scheme:
Since fly, shop and wxw schemes are basically the same, they can be combined very easily. The only thing you need to add is SelectWorm and a bit more turn time. Enable teleport at startup to place the worms correctly.
The start:
A 3in1 map basically consists of a shopper, a wxw and a fly map. When the game starts, every player needs to place 1 worm in each map. That means place 1 on top, 1 in the center and 1 in the bottom part. NOT 2 worms in the same map or all on top, you z!ll!an omfg.
Crate spawn will then determine what a player has to do in his turn. Here comes the tricky part, this seems to fuck up ppl's brains. Probably because the maps are interconnected in order to move worms around the whole area. Since you have 1 worm in each map, you should USE WORM SELECT to switch to the according map and start roping with your worm from there. NOT start roping with the worm that got activated and then shop your way through the map you z!ll!an dipshit again omfg
Rules are quite obvious from there ->
- crate in wxw map? WBA and go anywhere to kill.
- crate in fly map? FBA and go anywhere to kill.
- crate in shopper map? CBA and go anywhere to kill.
.................
Now... there will be a moment when worms d!E... deth... NO!... bo0m. argh... blub etc.. So0o, what happens then? --> Then you fkn rope faster you boon! hehehe <-- Usually at that time there will be several crates around the map. So you will still have a choice where to play, don't worry. BUT. Due to the random crate spawn this WILL mean that more often your crate gets on a fucked up spot and you have a useless turn. This can be seen as a negative feature, but it has very positive advantages as well. It will drag worms across the maps, especially around the ending of the whole game. It almost becomes like a chess game or like a spider in the web. Think of some tactics to get rid of your last opponent. How much time you need is up to your braincells.
