I think the name sums up this topic...
I'm surprised Solar didn't make a topic about it
Anyhoo £179 for it with Wii Sports (no thank u IMHO) and the pads will cost (£29 + £14 = £43)...
which means £43 x 3 = £129 (if u have that many friends that is... )

ive been talking about it in another forum instead
1 thing though kev, thats only the price because christmas is near and the ps3 is a long way off, if you owned a company you would take advantage of that situation yourself.
But January sales is a month after Added after 3 minutes: the Gamecube dropped from £160 to £130 within a month iirc |

yup you dont have to use the motion pad, from what we know the games are designed to use both motion and classic
swinging your arms around is a bit of a over statement too, you only need to move it a few cm's to get it working |

This won't be dropping in price for a while me thinks... the only reason the cube dropped was cause it was selling shit compared to the PS2 (and probably the ShitBox).
They are also delaying Metroid and Mario till next xmas btw (rumour going about) _________________

wow its been nearly 4 weeks since ive posted on these forums
i got my wii btw, 8th december at 7am, first in line at Game and walked out with 2 of them lol
wii sports comes with it, i got Wii play with a free wiimote, zelda TP and also got the classic pad for the VC games
ive downloaded from the VC, mario 64, sonic the hedgehog and DKC
It even has its on google earth like weather forcast which is pretty kewl
This really is the best console ive ever bought and ive only played 3 games for it.
Edit : as you see in the background i have a 37" HD LCD, the Wii is absolutley amazing quality through the component cable, im playing megadrive games in progressive scan
Sorry about the bad quality pic but i was in a rush

nice to see ya back dude
I think I'll w8 at least a year before I even think about next gen consoles... I still got plenty of games that have hardly been touched... though if certain games appear on the VC... I could easily be tempted... _________________
